Atlanta Reggae  Makes Return!

  Tech Sound Industries returns to the web!

Feb.06,2008 -- Atlanta's original Reggae label, " Tech Sound Industries", returns to the web this week after a two year absence. Accompanying the return is a new release; "The Best of Tech Sound Industries". Tech Sound began as an Atlanta based contributor to the garage band era of the early eighties. Two rooms of a one story house were converted for demo tape recording of local acts. Tech Sound became one of the earliest Atlanta midi recording facilities (home studios) for local artists. "Dub Studio" was created via Fostex eight track tape synced to an Atari ST computer and Mackie mixing gear. One song and multi song agreements were made with a number of local bands and artists. Finally in 1985, Tech Sound began distributing Reggae releases from the area via cassette tape. 

02/06/08 -- L'étiquette originale du reggae d'Atlanta, "Tech Sound Industries", revient à l'enchaînement cette semaine après une absence de deux ans. L'accompagnement du retour est un nouveau dégagement ; "le meilleur de Tech Sound Industries". Tech Sound a commencé en tant que contribuant basé par Atlanta à l'ère de bande de garage des années '80 tôt. Deux salles d'une maison d'une  histoire ont été converties pour l'enregistrement de bande de démo des actes locaux.  Tech Sound est devenu l'un des équipements les plus tôt d'enregistrement d'Atlanta  Midi (studios à la maison) pour les artistes locaux. le "studio de copie" a été créé par  l'intermédiaire de la bande de voie de Fostex huit synced à un ordinateur d 'Atari  ST  à une vitesse de mélange de Mackie. Une chanson et multi des accords de chanson ont été faites avec un certain nombre de bandes et d'artistes de gens du pays. Previous web distribution efforts were interrupted (summer, 2006) after more than nine months of disputes over untimely  and sloppy sales reporting and  accounting. Failed  negotiations led to the interruption. Tech Sound concerns  about  receiving no sales reports from some of the contracted music download services were not answered. Furthermore, no contacted music service ever honored any of the direct requests made by Tech Sound for sales tracking  information. Tech Sound apologizes  to all fans who have not been able to make contact.  There has been no authorization for sale or promotion of Tech Sound products during this period. 

Des efforts précédents de distribution d'enchaînement ont été interrompus (été, 2006) après plus de neuf mois de rapport de vente d'excédent de conflits de comptabilité prématurés et mouillés et. Les négociations échouées ont mené à l'interruption. Des soucis de Tech Sound concernant ne recevoir aucun rapport de ventes de certains des services contractés de téléchargement de musique n'ont pas été répondus. En outre, aucun service entré en contact de musique n'a jamais honoré aucune des demandes directes faites par Tech Sound à vendre dépistant l'information. Tech Sound fait des excuses à tous les ventilateurs qui démuni pu faire le contact. Il n'y a eu aucune autorisation à vendre ou la promotion des produits de Tech Sound pendant cette période.

Tech Sound artists have been favorably reviewed in many publications worldwide. In  an Atlanta Journal and Constitution news paper article(3/26/98), Tech Sound was noted as having "put Atlanta on the Reggae map". Recently, Tech Sound was noted for "painstakingly chronicling the Atlanta Reggae scene of the mid eighties". (Ponce Press;  June,2007) 

  For 2008, all Tech Sound releases have been newly re-mastered to better  

  accommodate the transition from analog to digital  and mp3. All Tech Sound
